Lesson from the People of Prophet Salih (as)

With compassion, by Salih, the
nation of Thamud, was requested
Only though knowing their Lord,
mankind could remain protected.

***

Sent directly by God, a
medicine to every living soul,
to fill what was once empty,
preserving them to be whole.

***
To prove how true was his noble
message, he was demanded,
To ‘emerge a she-camel, from
a rock,’ they blindly worshipped.

***

God accepted their request
and showed his miracle
in return, water must always
be in access to the she-camel.

***

They allowed the access of water as
commanded for just a short period
Once again, they grew ignorant
and from God’s path, they deviated.

***

It was just merely water, that
they felt too stingy to share
A miracle they once asked God,
they now planned to massacre.

***

I wonder, if I were God, how
angered of this act would I be
But he is the Lord of All, most
merciful, if only they could see.

***

For this sin committed, God still
gave them a fair chance, in 3 days
Their punishment would be called
off, if only they seeked forgiveness.

***

Proudly, they challenged
the punishment of God,
upon themselves they
called the wrath of God.

***

I now wonder how many times do
we receive gifts without asking
A gift directly from God, to keep
our souls pure, from sinning.

***

Everything the Lord does,
is always best for us
So why do we abuse his
gift, becoming more worse.

***

Prophet Yusuf (Jonah) True self

For being loyal and
a kind-hearted son
Without envy, or
jealousy from anyone

***

Yusuf was given the
knowledge of dreams
For God rewards the
doer of good deeds.

***

To test, how obedient was
Allah’s this gifted slave
Yusuf was trapped, and his
soul, he alone could save.

***

When the wife of the Aziz,
asked him to join this sin
He proclaimed, from his true
self, he could never give in.

***

‘No good comes to those who
do wrong’ He would explain
Ignored the words of God, she
approached him without no shame.

***

Yusuf, then asked his Lord, to show
him a way out of this wrath.
To the doer of good, who passed
his task. God then opened a path.

***

Though he escaped, he was
still unjustly imprisoned
A gift from this world, he
received for being resistant.

***

But you see, Yusuf
was never sad.
He accepted prison
with open hands.

***

For he knew, he was free
in the sight of his Lord
And any calamity shrinks,
with the protection of God

Shine for Imam Mahdi (as)

Untitled-1

Like the Sun I want to rise,
bright in front of your sight.
Sacrificing for the good, I try
to never dim away my light.
***

For you, I speak against the
wrong and defend what’s right.
And you secure my soul,
form any darkness to ignites.
***

I fear, this light, before you arrive, with my
every fibre, I continuously try to obtain.
But due to my sins, might lose its shine,
tarnishing me into pieces, once again.
***

Yet I know, you’ve raised me to glare
against every cloud and thunder
I plead, approve me as your own
and come back as my just leader.
***

Prophet Hud’s oppression

Prophet Hud like Mehdi was also
asked to remain in occultation
for in his absence, the people
had lost their faith in his mission.
***
They asked for their saviour, just
like we’ve been asking since years
Yet when Hud appeared, his was
nearly strangled, with scars & tears.
***
The people of Hud were asked leave
the worship of idols, the difference
between us and them, we still worship
our desires and think we are pious.
***
I understand now, why has Allah
still kept our saviour hidden
For he knows, his representor
would not receive, submission.

Prophet Hud (as) and Imam Mehdi (as)’s mission to their people.

Approaching towards his death,
Nuh said in his final moment,
After him Hud would be known
as his people’s chosen Prophet.
***
For after his arrival, Nuh had promised,
destroyed would be the deceitful enemies
who harmed his people of year after
year in deep, sorrowful miseries.
***
Appeared not Hud, for a long
time had passed for his arrival
impatient believers, soon left the
truth and walked the path of evil.
***
Witnessing, this change, Hud was asked by
the command of his Lord to remain hidden
Destroyed were those people, until at the
age of 40, Hud appeared again for his mission.
***
Invited this time, through Allah,
Hud approached his people
‘Obey God, for he created you,
worship not the idols of evil’
***
Although they were told, if they
followed Prophet Hud’s lord
increased with wealth would
be their respectful reward.
***
They jumped to strangle the
chosen leader of their time
for over the years, their hearts
were corrupted with such crime
***
For despite how much once they said, they
believed the lord and his Prophet’s mission
deep within their souls, for this world’s
desire they neglection this submission.
***
Muhammad too, was also attacked for
quoting and following Allah’s sermons
but due to his mercy towards mankind,
saved from this wrath were his nation.
***
I know for sure, Imam Mehdi too,
will be generous like his forefather
but I wonder, due to his sermons,
would we treat him like a stranger
***
Perhaps, Mehdi too has tried,
approaching us, his living nation.
But Allah has kept him hidden,
to test us and our submission.

Actions Speaks louder – A poem on Prophet Muhammad (swaa)

Rejected was his noble
teachings by many
called by derogatory
names he was by majority

Yet when you look into
his life he never gave up
for he believed in himself
first and his lord above

He created a reputation
of honesty and loyalty
which lead Khadija, to
trust him wholeheartedly

Never was he seen or known of
cheating, lying, hurting or betraying
for he proved with his actions the
definition of how to live as a being

With kindness, compassion
and utmost generosity
He taught mankind
the message of All mighty

Embodied with perfection he was
gifted to us from the very beginning
40 years without his noble status
he created a world worth living.

He removed, racism, selfishness, arguments
and rituals of every baby girl’s burying.
Never did he force others to pray, cover
and condemn those from the non-believing

For knowing your lord, you
need to know yourself, first
and how will you find God,
when your soul, non can trust.

So why is it that, we, with our lips
always mention God’s the great
while with action, we hurt, abuse,
condemn and Islam we degrade

Why do you not, question yourself,
fix your actions and then speak of God
Isn’t that what Muhammad did, first with
actions, then declared who is his lord.

Longer Prostration for Hussain

Beloved to him was Hussain,
for whom Mustafa never lifted
his head from his prostration

At his one request as a little child,
Muhammad got down on his knees
just so he could be Hussain’s horse ride

But now they use horses to kick his chest
he trembles back and forth without any rest
And to attend Salah, they murder him in haste

I ask you now, O enemies of Hussain
With such haste that you killed him,
to which lord are you rushing for prostration

Wasn’t Muhammad the
one to teach you this religion
Yet you betray him and his
lord by killing his grandson

When the best of creation
would slow down his prayer
just so Hussain could play on
top of his back a little longer

How could you then
butcher his beloved family
and separate this holy
religion from humanity

The accursed Satan did not prostrate to
Adam, and was sent out of heaven
Yet, O Yazid your people with prostration
have lost every last reason to be forgiven
