Explore deep inside

‘My kind is much better
than your kind’
I wonder, what exactly
have they defined?

***
One who claims to be
known from a superior race
Show me, how are you higher
and others are a disgrace?

***

Can you prove me, just one race
has served all of humanity?
With no injustice ever done, while others
have caused nothing but misery?

***

I can’t and nor can you bring
such an impossible prove
For I, myself, full of faults
have so much to improve.

***

Day in and day out, we all strive
to live and become the best
But when you discriminate,
you steal our path to this quest

***

You see, no one was not born with any
special talents, due to their nationalities
We learned to differ, according to our
interests, forming different personalities
***

And so, no one was born racist,
it was never their mentality
Taught to dislike those, without
knowing, created bigotry

***

‘My kind is much better
than your kind’
I wonder what exactly
have they defined?

***

Could you create a painting
bright with just one colour?
How would you remove its
dullness, I now wonder?

***

For colours only makes a painting
more beautiful to the eyes
And as humans, let’s explore,
what does each hold deep inside.

***

When throwing a small stone
across water, can cause a ripple
Speak up against racism, make
a difference, even if it’s little.

***

Sakina Imprisoned

A soul so pure, that couldn’t be
held within sham’s prison
To Sakina reaches death, once
and for all – giving her soul freedom.

***
Yet, I can still
hear her cries,
screaming she
is orphaned.

***

Though death let her
free, her grief for
her father, has forever
left her imprisoned

***

Prophet Yusuf (Jonah) True self

For being loyal and
a kind-hearted son
Without envy, or
jealousy from anyone

***

Yusuf was given the
knowledge of dreams
For God rewards the
doer of good deeds.

***

To test, how obedient was
Allah’s this gifted slave
Yusuf was trapped, and his
soul, he alone could save.

***

When the wife of the Aziz,
asked him to join this sin
He proclaimed, from his true
self, he could never give in.

***

‘No good comes to those who
do wrong’ He would explain
Ignored the words of God, she
approached him without no shame.

***

Yusuf, then asked his Lord, to show
him a way out of this wrath.
To the doer of good, who passed
his task. God then opened a path.

***

Though he escaped, he was
still unjustly imprisoned
A gift from this world, he
received for being resistant.

***

But you see, Yusuf
was never sad.
He accepted prison
with open hands.

***

For he knew, he was free
in the sight of his Lord
And any calamity shrinks,
with the protection of God

Prophet Hud’s faith in God

The tribe of Ad, lived in a
beautiful, flourishing land
Granted by God, blessed
with rich grains and sand.
***

When Hud, came to show, who
was the creator of this beauty,
They rejected his words, and
attacked the Prophet for his duty.
***

Flourished never again their
once beautiful, healthy land
Prevented was rain, a wrath
was sent by God’s command.
***

Hud himself, worked in
agricultural and in the fields
And even from his own crops,
rain for many years was shield.
***

In desperation, his nation begged
him to pray to his Lord again
To allow rain fall over their lands,
and success to once more, obtain.
***

Accepted was the prayer to God by Prophet Hud,
Who was their giver, the nation finally understood.
For the mischiefs, upon them wraths still stood
Upon calamities, the believers, still stayed Good.

***

I wonder how foolish
were Hud’s lost nation,
Like Muhammad’s,
decline from submission.

***

When the giver of blessings, wants
us to learn, why is he so, very kind
To obey him, for our benefit, not
his, protection for the soul, we find.

***

From this selfish world, which stains
my good, I can happily turn away
For the giver of everything, if I submit,
will protect me every single day.

***

When due to his nation, Hud
faced the very same adversity
He never left God, his obedience,
showed this faith’s, clarity.

***

Abbas protects the proof of God

In Karbala, both of his
hands were unjustly taken
For in return, 2 wings were
gifted to him in heaven.
***
I now understand why was Hazrat
Abbas given something so high
He protected the proof of God,
with every pain and every cry.

***

With no vision, within his heart
he saw God in his every action
Yet with clear sight, the poof of
God, from us remains hidden.

Prophet Hud’s oppression

Prophet Hud like Mehdi was also
asked to remain in occultation
for in his absence, the people
had lost their faith in his mission.
***
They asked for their saviour, just
like we’ve been asking since years
Yet when Hud appeared, his was
nearly strangled, with scars & tears.
***
The people of Hud were asked leave
the worship of idols, the difference
between us and them, we still worship
our desires and think we are pious.
***
I understand now, why has Allah
still kept our saviour hidden
For he knows, his representor
would not receive, submission.
